Bhagavatam:contd

Atya thishtathi:The one who sits on top is Eshwara. In the cage as well as outside the cage every where He is present and the one is conscious of this fact is Eshwara.Real gnani is the one who is aware of the fact that he is identifying with the Parameswara in himself and immersing himself in the God.There is no happiness in limitedness. As u see the unlimitedness of God’ creation, our happiness increases. The sea is the embodiment of liveliness which does not have bounderies.God is the whole and man is the unit and this is what is called god is aparimitam and man is parimitam. What is in between the two is “Maya”.

There are sixteen kalalu.God comes out of three gunas. After that the creation.Prakruthi, three gunas,Jeevulu, five senses, and the man that comes out of it.Just as wave can not be separated from the sea Jeevatma can not get separated from Paramatma.

“Saham karta”: Sa+aham+karta:I am not the doer.

Animals see from inside to outside.Man asking God means realising one’s own self. The essence of all Vedas is in Bhagavatam.Antar bahishya tatwam vyapya narayana sthitaha.Parikshit is the one who saw God in every object.Esavasopanishat says that God who is in the form of yourself is closer to you.So near but so far. When Maya disappears education comes closer.Who else is a friend to you other than your own Prana.being in yourself and making you do so many things in life is none other than God who is present in you.Mayantarayascha bahya a Lakshmi:Inside and outside that is present is Maya.

Bhagavat tatwam is of five kinds. One who is the creator is the Poet.

Sea,Wave,Light,Ice.The place in our house is not ours.It is because it does not come with us.Neither we can take it with us.This earth is present since thirty crore years.VAsudeva is “Sanatanaha.”The place can not get attached to any activity.

The day on Equinox day and night are similar. The brightness of Sun passes through Sushumna Nadi piercingly. So this is the day for meditation.Sun’rays pass through all seven Nadi kendras from Sahasraram.Today is our Telugu New year Ugadi.Surya is present in  Mesha rasi so he is responsible for the liveliness and brightness that is enlightened.

Sun’s rays are sent to earth straightly their radiance. Our soul is Sun himself.Sukra is the one who gives us experience.Budha gives the state of Yoga and neutrality to us.He gives us  a sense of distinguishing good from the bad.Kusa is embodiment of energy.Kuja’s energy helps inward as well as outward stability.Sani also helps for stability .Our aim should be how to read Bhagavatam from thirty angles.

We have to talk about those who do good and sacred deeds.By memorising them and singing in praise of them ,we develop divine thinking. If we can spend more time with the thoughts of God this gives us a way for salvation. The stories of great and sacred people is equal to the story of God.The story of Sri Krishna, stories of the Rishis, their history,Seven Rishis,Agasthya,Angeeerasa,Bhrugu,Bharadwaja,VEda vyasa etc. This book is equal to God.Bhagavatam is similar to Bramha.Veda Vyasa wrote it with great love. With help of Narada,The attention of Veda Vyasa was drawn towards devotion and this led to the creation of Bhagavatam. All the works written by Veda Vyasa earlier were not written with love. Those works give an awareness but Bahagavatam gives immense experience of the divinity of God.Sri Krishna gave this experience to Mythreya as His last message .

Veda vyaso bhagavan Rishihi. He was the son Parasara. If God is there you are not there.Namaha:I am not You only.

The creation of the universe and humanity are in Bhagavatam. As it is the essence of Vedas,Puranas,Ithihasas,we are given an obsorbing experience. The whole world shines in the light of Sun.As the world is not self proficient to shine on its own it becomes dark after Sun disappears. If you can light your mind while the Sun shines ,then this darkness can not do you anything. In this Kali yug Bhagavatam in the state of Krishna gives us light. There is no other Dharma thanBhagavatam.

SUka MAharshi is Known for his equanimity. He is of only one mind.He does not have any distinguishing sense between one and the other.HE has only one feeling that is the presence of God in every object. All is divine in his view.He woke up from the slumber of “Maya”.He does not realise how great he was.He never bothers about declaring about himself. He has no variation from an ignorant and a Gnani. His heart does not have pervertions. The story of Suka is the story of God.

A city is replica of greater social activity than spiritual activity.Great sities always run after material gains. But sages like Suka Maharshi do not think of a permanent place to live. They move from place to  place in spreading knowledge.Suka maha Muni also never stays anywhere permanently. It is said that he is on his move so fast as he will not stay even the time that takes tin milk from the cow.The places where he stepped in became great pilgrimage centres. The word “Theerdhamau” means “the place that makes you purified”.The places that were trodden by great Sages became the centers of purity and sacredness.Great people never aspire anything for themselves. They wish the welfare of others. This body is essential in order to protect  others.King Parikshit wanted to sacrifice his body .For what reason?Parikshit did not give a chance to Kali to put his foot on earth. His protection was so precious. He was the means for Devatas to establish peace on earth.Unless a person has all the good qualities like sacredness, commitment, knowledge,he can not protect others.Vyasa came at the beginning of Dwapara Yuga.We have to offer prayers to Rudra in the evening.Rudra is responsible to instill brightness from darkness.

Vyasa was born to Parasara in the womb of Satyavathi with the bright ness of Hari.Satyavathi is the form of truth.she was born from the fish as a ray of Sun fell in the womb of a fish and came out as a small girl. She is Satyavathi.Parasara gave life to Veda vyasa. So he was born with the radiance of Hari. There were many stories which depict the fact that some were born without the natural course of reproduction from a man and a woman.

Satyavathi has two more sons named Vichitra Veerya,Chitrangada.

Veda Vyasa became five year old soon after he was born.He offered pranam to hos mother and said that he would appear before her whenever she thinks of him.

Kruta Yugam,THretha Yugam,DWApara Yugam,Kali Yugam.

As th e time went by there are mire number of people who do not thinks of Stwa Guna in Kali Yuga.As is told by master C..v.v.in the chanting of Gayatri mantra you have to visualise that you are that brightness and immerse in it.This is what is called Satwa Guna.People who do not know the tastre of this Satwa Guna are weak minded. If we can do any kind of service to people who are in need that is really great. We must be able to the helping hand to them. That is real humanity. There is no meaning to give to those who already have .The prayers that we offer to God daily should not be done for our selfish ends. The Bhagavatam of our C.V.V.is not meant for pandits but for all who can use it to the best of their ability.

Vedam is based on Karma. In order to perform Yagnam we need four people.Vedas were divided into four parts.

After writing many books VedaVyasa examined his own self with deep thought and he felt so sad that he was depressed. He was repenting for not doing anything beneficial to mankind.Mythreya was wellversed with veda vedangas and he was the source of all arts. One who enters into literature in course of his journey in doing service to people, but one can not enter into service from immense knowledge.Even offering prayer without service is useless.Every one has to do service in his limitations. If we can make the God in our heart happy ,that is the real service. In his self examination Veda Vyasa came to know that he did not satisfy the God in himself.

Chaitra Sudha Pournami.

From above the earth Prajna enters into our body and we make use of it and with the help of speech the Guru evokes us towards brightness through the ritual” Upanayanam.”A human being evolves himself into a cultured person with the guidance of the teacher.

We must go into sleep with the awareness of god. Before going to sleep we must read some of the poems from Bhagavatam, with the memory of those poems we must meditate upon God’s feet, and we must visualise the form of God in His true features and go to sleep with peacefulness.

We must always remember the service that Veda Vyasa did to mankind through his literature. He considered that to read Vedas was his life’s goal.He divided the Vedas that he got from his mother with devotion and from those Vedas he passed on to the generations the famous” Suktas”called “Purusha Sukta, and Sri Sukta”for utterance.

Narada is said to be “Purana Purusha”.This means he came on to this earth like the personification of God [Nirakara,Sakara].When Dhrma enters the human body they turn into be three qualities”Ganas”.There are other qualities called Dharma Gunas and Kalyana gunas. There were no temples in Krutha Yuga and Thretha Yuga.Earlier people used to see God in the good qualities in human beings. In course of time as those good qualities were decreasing slowly this feeling of godliness in human beings disappeared. Then thay started making idols and worship them.We started to identify with God in a stone instead of seeing God in a living object like human being.

VEda Vyasa thought that there was some flaw in himself. In this context we must also remember how people pour all kinds of fruit juices on Idols. This was not mentioned in any Sastra. We must observe one thing here that devotion is more important than anything else.So if we spend more time in chanting Narayana mantra ,God will bless you for sure. This satisfaction is called “Samadhi Sthiti”.

Qualities of Bhagavatam that The great Narada Maha Muni told Veda Vyasa.:

Dharmas are seen in the great qualities of “Sat purushas”.We have to see and absorb those good qualities. We must be able to distinguish good from the bad and take good and discard bad like Hamsa which separates water from milk and take only milk by discarding water. We also get happiness when we see the good qualities in people. We also feel like seeing God in them.

Secondly the great work that is full with the nama sankeerthanam of Sri Hari is equal to a tank that is filled with gold lotuses and Hamsas.Manasa sarassu means our own heart.Ordinary human being does not have lotuses and in the same way all tanks do not have lotuses.A tank which is filled with both lotuses and hamsas give happiness in the same way the uttering of the word of God also gives immense happiness. When we get absorbed with good we get happiness. The utterance of the word Sri Hari gives purification to the body and happiness to the heart.Generally people always find the bad in the opposite being but great people find only good in others ignoring bad in them. The more you utter the name of Hari the more the heart gets purified. There are so many “Satakas” like “Dasaradhi,Narasimha,Lakshmi,”Mukundamala,Annamayya kritis and as you master these books and grasp the meaning of these poems your heart gets purified.Even if you listen to them your heart gets the purification.Slowly we establish the form of God in our hearts and the purification starts from the heart.Every human being’s life is a great book. When we read Vushnu Sahasra Namam we see the form of God in our presence.Sankaracharya wrote so many books in praise of God and it shows the amount of urge that he felt about God.Just as the poet writes with a feeling ,the reader also must feel the warmth of the feeling of the writer.

Our heart always utters two letters “Soham”.That is “Om”,

Like a lotus this occupies our hearts. The word “Varnam”has multiple meanings. It is color, letter, sound and quality. The sound “Om”fills the heart with happiness.Jari namasmaranam gives immense happiness.

A human being’s life is a book. His day to day life is a page.Every day has four paragraphs dividing the day into four parts:morning, afternoon, evening and night.Five years is considered as one chapter and twenty five chapters make seventy five years. If the whole life is spent in the name God that becomes a great book. The life that is not spent with the thoughts of God becomes a waste book. The life should be made useful with the thoughts of God and make it a great book.the chanting of the name of God makes the tongue more sacred. This sacred name of Hari makes all six chakras in the body into a beautiful Lotus. The utterance begins with tongue and passes through mind and reaches heart.”Hari om tatsat”.Even if you do not talk this goes on in the heart. The six chakras are:Muladharam,Swadishthanam,Manipurakam,Visudhi,Ajna, and Sahasraram. In Muladharam there are four petalled lotuses. In Swadishthanam there are six petalled lotuses,Manipurakam has twelve,Visudhi has sixteen,Ajna also sixteen and Sahasraram sixteen. The difference between a devotee and an ordinary man is the heart of the devotee expands like a tank filled with lotuses. The body becomes a sacred lotus.Haman beings must always remember Veda Vyasa for his contribution to the  literature and mankind because he felt to read Vedas like a vratam.he divided the vedas into four parts and handed them over to the following generations.

The white lotus emerges into a beautiful flower by taking the brightness of The Sun as he occupies the sky and also his purity. While uttering Gayatri Mantra we have to invite the radiance of Sun into every particle of ours.we get into such a mood that we can see God with our mind’s eye.So the utterance of Gayatri Mantra is like the sacred word “Hari”.
